Dragon Quest X is now in English!
With the news that there are no plans to localize dqx I wanted to share with you guys 2 community projects that are going on! Both created by serany/mebo

This game has been out for almost 10 years and finally we can play it and understand it. Don't be intimidated by the fact it's an mmo. I've put 700 hours into it and I can tell you it's a dq game first, mmo second. You can even play through the whole story without playing with irl people! This works because they've implemented a system where you can hire other players as npcs (similar to dq9 where you hire npcs) to help you out and it gives them exp in return. While the game is subscription based, there is a free trial available that includes the base game and most of the first expansion! (Up to 2.3 specifically) this is already hundreds of hours of gameplay alone! Live in the US? You don't need a vpn anymore! Since 2019 they have lifted the ip ban so you won't need a vpn anymore. Don't live in the US? Unfortunately you still need a vpn but we have a discord server full of dedicated fans that can help you with any questions you have!
We'll answer any questions you have about installing the game, ahkmon, and clarity as well as the best way to set up a vpn if you need it.

DQX is a magical experience and I've made many friends from it from across the world. Even if SE won't localize it, we've done it ourselves. I hope to see all of you in Astoltia and maybe we can even play together!
